| 1 | Take the B road from Pirbright to the A322 |
| 2 | Turn right onto the A322 (heading towards Guildford) |
| 3 | At the roundabout take a right turn and join the A3 leading to Petersfield |
| 4 | Continue on the A3 to Milford and then at the roundabout turn left onto the A283 towards Brighton |
| 5 | Drive on the A283 through Wormley, Northchapel, and Petworth |
| 6 | Keep left on A283 for Byworth and then through Pulborough, Storrington and Washington |
| 7 | Turn left onto the B2135 (before Steyning) heading for Ashurst |
| 8 | At Partridge Green turn right onto the B2116 (I think), then right onto the A281 and left back onto the B2116 towards Hurstpierpoint |
| 9 | Keep on the B2116 through Keymer, at Ditchling take a left onto the B2112 towards Burgess Hill |
| 10 | Continue on the B2112 to Haywards Heath and turn right onto the A272 to North Common |
| 11 | Then turn left onto the A275 and follow signs to Sheffield Park Garden. |
| 12 | Sheffield Park Garden to Godalming (approx. 55 miles) |

| 14 | Leave Sheffield Park Garden and head for the A275 |
| 15 | Turn right onto the A275 to Danehill |
| 16 | Turn left onto minor roads through Horsted Keynes, across the Bluebell Railway to the B2028 |
| 17 | Turn right onto the B2028 and head to Turners Hill |
| 18 | Turn left onto B2110 and follow this road until Lower Beeding |
| 19 | Turn right onto the A281 towards Horsham and continue beyond Horsham to the A29 |
| 20 | Turn right onto the A29 to Ockley and then left onto the B2126 towards Forest Green |
| 21 | At Forest Green turn left onto the B2127, pass through Cranleigh and cross the A281 |
| 22 | Turn left(ish) onto the B2130 to Loxhill and continue through Hascombe to Godalming |
